Snow Cat

This is Purr. She loves to go outside with the dogs and seemed to love the snow. The other cats wanted nothing to do with it.

Here's a shot of two of our ponies as DH was giving them their dinner.

Salty and Brody having fun in the snow.

And Maxine with a snow beard. It had mostly melted by the time I got this shot. She loves the snow. She could sure use a bath...

No shots of art tonight. Just haven't gotten a chance to get any pics. Saturday is the show at the winery that is if we don't get snowed in. There are so many roads closed here in Idaho due to snow and drifting snow. They even had to close Bogus Ski Resort as no one could get up or down the mountain due to snow drifts. Come on Spring.

What a nice blog - glad I found you through OWOH. It's unusual for an orange tabby to be a female. All our orange tabbies have been males and I think the majority of them are, just as the majority of calicos are females.

Hi again - yep. The color gene is carried in the same bundle of traits as the gender gene - that's not a scientific definition btw, just that I don't know the exact reasons. But my sister is a vet so she passes on all sorts of interesting pet trivia. I think the calico/female connection is stronger than the orange/male one. Manx - born with that short stub for a tail.
